Real Adventures of Krakatau and Trekking at Ujung Kulon National park

Sail the Sunda Strait to observe the Krakatau/cracatoa, an active volcano on the sea, famous of its big bang in 1883, which destroyed the surrounding area with at cost of 36,000 of death human, considered as one of the largest volcano eruptions in the history of mankind. We will overnight in tents on an island right beside the volcano where you can swim, snorkel or trekking around the island. Then continuing Trekking from the northern part of Ujungkulon National Park through low land tropical rain forest along the "untouristy" coastal line to the western part of the park. En route you can swim, snorkel and even fishing on the pristine crystal water and white sandy beach with opportunities of seeing animals, birds and other exotic fauna & flora of Ujungkulon, the last home of Javan Rhinos.

Day 1: CARITA - ANAK KRAKATAU - BARBEQUE ( L,D )
Morning Start From Carita Beach, Sailing Cross Sunda Strait the journey will take us About 3 hours by slow boat, on the way we could see flying fish, group of small tuna, dolphins and other nice view, depend on the weather. Sail around the volcano ( Anak Krakatau ) here we can see kind and stem of larva, Landing and Climbing up to the first level of anak krakatau. At 15.30 Make camping at Big Krakatau / Anak Krakatu / Panjang island close to ranger Post ( depend on request ). After Dinner we can do Night Tracking to anak Krakatau, Back to the camp for fire wood and barbecue Fish

Day 2 : SUNRISE - RAKATA HIKING - ENJOY THE BEACH - CAMP (B,L,D )
Early Morning call and climb up the mountain to enjoy sunrise. Breakfast at the camp then 08.00 am go to big Krakatau / Rakata Island. swimming and snorkeling at Legon cabe ( chili bay ) here we can see kind of beautiful coral and colorful fish. Take a rest and lunch time on the beach / on board, camping at Big Krakatau /Anak Krakatu / Panjang island close to ranger Post ( depend on request )

Day 3 : CAMP - PEUCANG ISLAND ( B,L,D )
Breakfast at the camp and sail to Peucang island which will take us about 5 hours. Arrive at peucang island in the afternoon, Peucang island is the most unique and delightful island, lies and clear blue water off the north western coast line of the National park. It is white sand beaches. Calm, quite and coral reef shore hold a fascinating world marine life. Here also easy to see a lot of grey monkey, deers, wild pig, kinds of bird. Check in at Accommodation then we continuing for tracking (on the island) to Karang Copong which will take About 3 Hours Return, Here we will see Kind of Primary Forest and wild life , Back to Accommodation. Dinner and overnight at ranger guest house.

Day 4 : CIBOM - CIRAMEA - CIDAON - PEUCANG ( B,L,D )
After breakfast boating to Cibom ( The old duct port )continue to Ciramea the southern part of Ujungkilon to search the Green Turtle and egg are often seen in this beach. Continue tracking to Tanjung Layar ( Old light House here we can see the view of Indian Ocean and Sunda Trait) Tanjung layer tracking to Cibom and Back to Pecang Island. Lunch will be serve at restaurant Free time…. At 14.00 we go to snorkeling to Cipenyu at other side of peucang island back to the island and At 17.00 we go to Cidaon Grazing ground at mainland to see wild life here we try to see the wild java buffalo , kind of birds, horn bill, peacock, wild pig. Sunset time at Cidaon jetty. Back to Peucang Island dinner will be serve at the Restaurant. overnight at ranger guest house.

Day 5 : PEUCANG - HANDELEUM - CIGENTER - HANDELEUM ( B,L,D )
Breakfast and start sailing to Handeleum island ( Ujung Kulon National Park) the journey wich will take as about 1,5 hours. Handeleum island situated among a group of small island just off the north eastern coast of the Ujung Kulon Peninsula . Here we will see also the group of mangrove island Lunch will be serve at the island . At about 14 00 we go to cigenter river by boat for canoeing than canoes trip up the Cigenter river on the mainland, meander through overhanging rain forest for 2 hours. The habitat of python, hornbill, type of monkey where crocodile and rhino are occasionally sight in this area, also we will visit cigenter grazing ground / feeding ground, back to the boat and back to the Handeleum island . Dinner and free time… stay over night at lodgr or simple accommodation

Day 6 : HANDELEUM - SUMUR - CARITA. ( B,L,D )
After breakfast at 09.00 prepare to check out, sail back to Sumur. Sumur is a fishing village near Ujung Kulon it is a 2,5 - 3 hour drive from Carita through hills , jungles , and rice fields. On the way to Sumur we will stop over on Badul Island , a small uninhabited , reef-lined island with beautiful coral reef, colorful fishes and white sand beaches . swimming and snorkeling here, lunch will be serve on board. Arrive at Sumur at about 13.00 , sumur to Carita. End of trip
